15months, Mother's Day and more

Its been a while since I posted an update so here it goes....

Matt is now walking around the house on his own and using a cane when out and about! He is still in pain and some of it will probably be with him forever but we are so thankful for the progress made and excited about the progress he will continue to make.

I am doing well, my garden (see other post from today) is thriving due to all the sun and rain we have been getting, I started playing in a local orchestra and am truly enjoying getting my fingers going again and the group of moms that I have met has really been staying active, thus I have been staying active and enjoying getting to know lots of wonderful woman and babies (and even a few of their hubbies).

Orson is getting bigger, more capable of reeking havoc and tons of fun. Most of the pictures are of course him :)

Mother's Day was wonderful. Matt starting celebrating on the Tuesday before, with dinners, chocolate covered strawberries, a hike, mass, flowers, even breakfast in bed. And Orson seemed to know something was up, as he gave me a lot more kisses then normal :) I still struggled with the anniversary of mom's death but overall the memories from that week are wonderful. Thanks to my two favorite guys.

Just a couple of cute mugshots...Lucy and Orson are getting good at posing for the camera.

And being cute after swimming outside all afternoon....

Dressing up, wearing hats and scarfs has been a real hit lately...and its fun for the babies too :)

Lucy has also taught Orson how to ride on his horse, now it is a fight to see who gets on it first. Of course, Orson took it to a whole new level today by rocking on it so hard that he flipped over the top.....why, oh why?

Orson's hair has been growing in...it is so fine that you can put a fleece blanket over it and achieve these results:

Orson attended a gymnastics class the past 6 weeks. He loved doing flips, climbing through tunnels and trying to figure out how to jump. I think we will be going back soon!

The weather has been so nice that my backyard has become a naked baby park :) It is so much fun enjoying the weather, my fellow moms and watching the babies fall in love with water and the great outdoors.

And my favorite picture of the summer so far:
