Hiking

We went for an impromptu hike this Saturday up by Tahoe to escape the heat of Sacramento. It went really well but we did tire out the girls really well (Snuggles almost didn't make it back) and both of us are a little sore today. We only hiked a mile in and a mile out but we crossed the tree line, found a lake and suffered a little from altitude. Orson was the only one that didn't get tired and of course that is because he road on his Daddy's back the entire way.

The lake looked so refreshing, I just wanted to jump in (should have brought a change of clothes with me).

Well, after looking at this picture, I guess we tired Orson out too!

As you can see from the pictures, I also cut my hair off on Friday (well I had someone else do it for me actually). At first I really didn't like it but it has been slowly growing on me (no pun intended).

We stopped into some bike shops this weekend, I want to start riding again really bad and we thought we would try some helmets on Orson....this was the smallest one they had,

I guess I will just have to wait a little longer :)

Orson has taken to protesting breakfast, so I decided to let him try feeding himself this morning....he thought the whole concept was gross based on his face and yet he kept putting his hand back in for more :)

This afternoon, he didn't want to go down for a nap...Matt put him in the bouncy chair and he has been sleeping like this for the last hour:

I always thought the dogs got into crazy sleeping positions, I think Orson may have them beat!

Now I just have to buckle down and pack for London!!!
